Update: Mayor Bloomberg has faced some tough opponents since taking office, but none have bitten him up until now. During the Groundhog's Day ceremony in Staten Island yesterday, Charles G. Hogg bit the Mayor and ruined a very nice pair of leather gloves. Bloomberg was trying to lure the critter out from his hiding place with an ear of corn when the furry fiend went for the finger.
