Here's the Debbie Downer we missed.

And here's the Joyologist skit that didn't make the final show.

Saturday Sh!ts & Giggles On Sunday: Debbie Downer

I was disappointed to hear that Rachel Dratch's Debbie Downer skit was cut during last week's SNL with Betty White. Here's a reminder of why this is one of SNL's funniest characters.

Finally We See Jon Hamm's Bod. Woof!

I literally laughed out loud at Barney Frank's expression at 1:22 remaining!

SNL's Wiig Does Kathie Lee Gifford

Kathie Lee could be in someone else's "I Just Don't Get It" file. Not mine. I don't know why, but I like her. I think it goes back to my Dad who's high point of his day used to be watching Regis and Kathie Lee every morning. He was blind from diabetes for the last years of his life and so I'm glad that he had something that made him happy.

Here's Kristen Wiig doing dear old Kathie Lee. She exaggerates, but not by much!

SNL Beyonce Video Parody

It's been a while since I've seen an SNL skit that I actually laughed out loud. Most are amusing, but this one is hilarious. Michael couldn't disagree with me more!

NBC enforced copyright on YouTube to take it down yet they don't have it posted on their own site. I found this on a site in China.

And here's the original that they're spoofing.

Tina Fey Returns To SNL

In case you missed it...

"I can see Russia from my house!"

and

"Ask this one about dinosaurs!"

Fey has Beaverhausen down pat. Love it!

TV Saturday On Sunday: Saturday Night Live

I thought this was effing hilarious. It reminded me of when I was a manager of a department of seven women. There were times I would lock myself in my office with a sign on the door that read, "Do Not Disturb Unless There Is A Fire." I half expected the ladies to have burned the place down on some days.

Update: The NBC police had the original clip I posted removed from YouTube. Here it is from the NBC site.

Saturday Morning Levity

Not sure how long this is going to be posted so enjoy it while you can. As I understand it (think I read it in the WSJ), NBC et. al. has a team of web surfers that scour YouTube for their material and then send a formal removal request to a team over at YouTube that takes it down. I've tried to link to various items before but they get pulled down quickly.

I'm not entirely sure why the production companies do this. It seems to me that whatever ad revenue YouTube generates from these clips is fair compensation for increasing the value of the properties owned by NBC. And NBC doesn't even have to invest in the technology to do the hosting. But what do I know? If NBC would make their stuff embeddable and host it from their own site, folks wouldn't need YouTube.

Anyway, the first half of this clip is the skit, second half is some nonsense not worth watching.

Whoopsa-daisy!

Saturday Morning Levity

Chris Farley made "living in a van down by the river" a top catch phrase on Saturday Night Live. Here's a compilation clip of the best Matt Foley skits to start your weekend off with a laugh.

Saturday Morning Levity

I love the Debbie Downer character played by Rachel Dratch on Saturday Night Live. Here's a clip of the best skit to start your weekend off with a laugh.

Debbie Downer at DisneyWorld featuring Lindsay Lohan.

On a side note, I read that this was broadcast in HDTV and that when the camera pulls in to Rachel for her close-ups, you can see the outline of the contacts in her eyes!
